I’ve Accepted the HD 91 Debate! Mark Your Calendar for Monday

Dear Friends,

We had a great turnout for our block walk with Gov. Abbott on Friday!  Our momentum is growing, with more and more people offering to host coffees, meet and greets, and volunteer.  If you would be interested in hosting a neighborhood casual coffee, or join our blockwalking efforts, please email me personally at [email protected].

In the meantime, I want you to know that I have accepted a debate invitation from the Northeast Tarrant Republican Club, an organization with a long history of hosting Republican debates.

The event will be held next Monday, April 29th, at Crossmark Church, 5408 Davis Blvd., North Richland Hills, 76180.  The doors will open at 6:30 p.m. The debate will take place at 7 p.m. I hope you will join us.

Here are some key questions on which voters deserve answers:

– Why did David Lowe publicly state that Sheriff Bill Waybourn is “no different than any another corrupt politician” and call on him to resign?

– After admitting this week that he bought and sold porn domains because he was “trying to make a quick buck”, (his words, not mine), why has David Lowe lied and given conflicting answers about his reasons for making these tawdry investments?

– What does David Lowe say to the four respected law enforcement organizations who, after reviewing his history of profiting from sexually explicit web based investments, are urging citizens to vote against him?

– Why has David Lowe told the Dallas Morning News “I would consider expanding gambling to increase state revenues”, but told others he’s against it?

I look forward to this opportunity to confront the many outrageous lies and distortions from my opponent, and for the citizens here in HD 91 to hear this exchange.

David Lowe has missed numerous joint appearances and forums, and I hope he will show up this time:

• Lowe skipped the Tarrant County Republican Assembly Endorsing Convention on January 27, where all three HD 91 candidates were invited to attend and make their pitch to be endorsed.  Every candidate in the county in a contested primary attended – except for David Lowe.

• Lowe skipped the Metroplex Republican Women’s HD 91 Candidate Forum on January 25 at North Point Baptist Church in Hurst.

• Lowe skipped a candidate forum moderated by Former Senator Konni Burton at the Fort Worth Republican Women on February 28.

Let’s hope David Lowe decides to attend.
